Ekaterina Abramova from Russia feels that everything can inspire narrative painting. “I look at simple things in life as a subject. There is a security guard who has been working here for the last 14 years. I listen to music, and I saw him tapping his fingers to a beat. He has been part of the museum and has seen history through the changing times in his life. Another woman I found fascinating was using the same traditional tools to grind spices, she had a certain glow on her face, the feeling of satisfaction in her life,” — says Ekaterina Abramova, who also lives in Goa. —
