This is painting #14 of a series of 20 small paintings on paper size 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches by local NY/NJ area artist Ekaterina Abramova.
Each is inspired by multicultural area of NYC. Each painting reflects on different symbols representing mix of different cultures living together.
“I have always been inspired by traveling and connecting with different people, cultures, philosophies, and mythologies. Living here in NY I see how so many cultures are living together, how all of us create new mythology, as well as new symbology.”
